I was with Sammy on Thursday of this week when it was finally time to turn off the life support systems from Laurie and allow her to go Home.  This was a very hard decision for Sammy to have to make.  Laurie is no longer able to receive dialysis and she is bleeding internally.  She still had a heart beat as of Friday morning but the doctors say it is just a matter of time till she will quit breathing and her heart will stop.  Pray for Sammy as he makes this transition to being without his soulmate and the love of his life.
