Mike is not well after the second round of chemotherapy last week. He has one more treatment to go and some tests to see if they have killed the cancer. Also remember Cindy and the rest of the family in your prayers.
Letrice is going to a facility where she will receive intense physical therapy at the end of this month. Praise God for the progress she's making and pray they are able to help her regain her mobility. The cast from the gunshot wound is now off. Kay is doing much better and is able to work now. Richard is still having trouble with his legs and sleeping at night. Pray also for Annette who is struggling with diabetes and a recently sprained ankle. Jimmy is out of the hospital from hip surgery. He isn't able to get out of bed yet so couldn't be with us. We pray for his quick recovery. He really wants to be back with us. Remember to pray for April. She's experiencing shoulder pain and headaches in addition to the carpal tunnel. She's seeing a doctor this week.
Pray for the Yarborough family. The sister of some friends of the Whitmores lost her granddaughter in a pool drowning last week. We were given names but I don't want to be too specific on-line. If you missed the service on Sunday you can contact Pastor David or Pris for more detail. Pray for this family as they deal with the grief and other feelings that come with such a tragedy.
Sandy requests that we pray for her friend Janey who is in the hospital with a staff infection and will be there for several weeks. Sandra requested prayer for her mother who went to the hospital with dehydration from dizziness. The cause is unknown. She's out but not doing well. Pray that she will use wisdom in choosing her activities until she is well.
Mary wants the whole church to be praying for her this week as she goes back to the doctor. From what Linda seemed to understand when we talked to her after church it may be that her leg still needs to be amputated. Perhaps someone who knows the situation more completely can fill us in. She indicated that she would be at Parkland.
Francis wants us to pray that everything will be OK when she goes for a regular checkup on Friday. She would also like us to pray for her neighbor Alex who recently broke his leg.
