Praise and Prayer Requests from July 11
« on: July 13, 2010, 08:11:40 PM »
Pastor learned that Jimmy, the man who has been coming for the past few weeks, is at Baylor hospital now but we don't have any information about it.  Keep praying for Mike as he heads into the second Chemo treatment this week.

There is good news from Letrice.  She is getting better after having been shot in a drive-by a few weeks ago and has a more mobile cast.  She says she is getting some feeling back (related to her original injury) and Will be entering rehab later this month.

Kelley asks that we pray for her family.  We don't have a lot of detail but a relative has died.  Keep praying for Jo Havens who lost her friend, Dorothy, that we prayed for a few weeks ago.  Kay is now at home.  Keep praying for her and Richard.  Pray also for Anette who is helping them but has recently hurt her foot.  April will be going to the doctor next week because of carpal tunnel to evaluate whether she Will need surgery.  Arvella was taken to the hospital last week due to complications from diabetes.  She's back at home now.  We need to keep praying for her health inside and out.  Remember Dede as well.  Priscilla wasn't feeling well enough to teach Sunday School so we also pray that she gets better.

Sammy asked again that we pray for his friend Elizabeth and her mother.  We didn't get the reason but God knows.  They met taking Lori for dialysis.

Don asks that we pray for the family of a friend of his, Tim, who passed away last week.

Mary wants us to pray for her because of more tests coming up, but she is doing much better and we are glad God knew more than we did and gave her the strength to hold on and not let them remove her leg, which is not going to be necessary.  We sure are glad to have her back with us.

As always I urge you to ask God how you can be part of the answer to these prayers.  Keeping others' needs in front of you builds compassion and blesses you as you do part of what God made you to do.
