Keep praying for Kay Boles. If you read Richard's post yesterday you know that she is in ICU at Doctors Hospital. The immediate problem is excessive fluid retention. The underlying problem is a heart murmur. Pray for Richard also during this time.
Kelley asks us to remember her Sister and brother-in-law Shelley and Clark. They have financial needs and Clark has been ill.
Keep praying for Mike. He could not be with us today. He has not been able to keep food down. The doctors have now found stomach ulcers that will be treated this week and he is to have chemotherapy after all. The good news is he's feeling better about things than he was last week.
Pastor David would like us to keep his son Josh in prayer. We rejoice with him for the upcoming wedding this week. Anna is also getting married this week.
Priscilla wants us to keep praying on behalf of Kim. More test results are coming this week. We're glad she's been able to be back with us. She also asks continued intercession for grandchildren Tyler and Leslie in their new living situation. She is asking for wisdom as they work to be a positive influence in the children's' lives. She asks prayer for Marty, one of Kim's friends.
Dede wants us to keep Arvella in our prayers and she continues to seek healing for her eyes. Several of us can identify with that prayer.
Jimmy asks that we pray for his fiance, Denise. She has run a high temperature for a long time and a cause has not been identified.
Anita would like prayer for her financial situation.
We were glad to have Mary with us again this week and we pray that she knows how much she is loved. This is one of those opportunities we have to be the answer to prayer. Taking time to listen to her and give respect to what she has to say will mean a lot.
If I have misstated or left out anything please chime in. Taking the notes as requests are given allows me to get them out faster but Denys me the rewind function I would have with a recording.
Focus on these needs in prayer this week and you will find your own concerns fading away. I believe you will find that either God changes your priorities or answers them in ways you never could have imagined.
