Dorothy, a lady who lives with our friends Josh and Jo Havens, was taken to Baylor Hospital in critical condition after her heart stopped on Sunday morning. They performed CPR when they found her but it is not known how long she was out. Pray for Josh and Jo as well during this time.
Pastor David's soon to be daughter-in-law was also taken to the hospital with gall stones. Pray for Jeri and also for Josh that the peace of God will reign during this time that should be one of great joy and much anticipatory planning.
Keep praying for Mike. We are thankful for the good news thus far but he still has to undergo radiation treatment and it has made him sick. We're believing that the doctors can't find the source of the cancer because the source is no longer there.
Keep praying for the folks who haven't been able to make it lately. We haven't heard anything new from Arvella and Dede but we know Arvella still needs help and the hot weather makes things more difficult. Mary was supposed to come but was still sleeping. when the bus came. We don't know that there is any new problem but we need to keep lifting her up. Ed is not getting to sleep because of a new roommate. Pray they get him in a better situation soon .
Sandy conveyed a request from her friend Cynthia, for stomach problems for which the doctors have no diagnosis.
Kelley asks that we pray for her sister and her husband. Shelly and Clark need a new place to live. Clark has been ill.
Linda laments the passing of an acquaintance from Need Him, Hons, who served as an inspiration to her she began answering calls for the organization. Need Him provides a telephone service whereby people who are ready to receive Jesus as Lord can call in and pray with someone. She is thankful for his enthusiasm for the Lord and the 14,000 people he spoke to over nine years of volunteering. We pray for the friends and family he left behind.
Don't forget to keep the health of Chuck and Leigh Hagel and Jane of the senior Moments in your prayers as Pastor asked us to do in his weekly post.
Remember these throughout the week. As you intercede on behalf of others, you will find your own concerns fading away. Be blessed to be a blessing.
