Please keep Pastor David and his family in your prayers. This is something we should always do, but if you were there this week you know they could use a little extra this week. Kim has been in pain and very sick for the past two weeks and unable to eat. Priscilla hurt her foot badly in a door, and they have learned one of their granddaughters is in some trouble.
The start of Mike's chemo treatment has been moved to this Friday. Pray also for Cindy during this time.
Remember those who have not been able to be with us lately. Richard is still not feeling well. Keep praying because we want him to be well and miss having him here. Arvella had a bad week and seems to be in decline again. Pray for Dede who is handling the majority of her care and has her own health issues in addition to what we learned during the request time. Kelly is also out sick again. A better environment would probably help her stay well, so we keep trusting the Lord to find her a better place to live.
Kathy's husband Benny got the required surgery but did not recover well. He's home now but still needs your prayers.
Sandy asks that we keep praying for Heather. She remains hospitalized and will need a new living arrangement when she is released. Pray for her healing and deliverance. Pray also for Sandy's comfort during this difficult time.
Ruth asks that we pray for a young woman (name not printed for privacy) who is suffering from mental breakdown after losing several people close to her to death over the past couple of years and learning that her father is dying. She also learned only recently that she was adopted.
Anita asks that we pray for her family and financial situation.
We try to be sensitive to the nature of these requests and not publish everything that gets said in church for all the world to read. If we leave something out that you think should be here that may be the reason. If it was your request feel free to let us know that it's OK to share it publicly or post it yourself.
Let's all remember to pray for each other throughout the week. We know that God answers prayer, and we also know that when you turn your heart to the needs of others you too will be blessed. Also ask God how you might be part of the answer to someone's prayer.
