PRAYER REQUESTS WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2008
Greetings & Blessings, Bartimaeus Flock & Friends! Next week is Homecoming! Just remember that it’s the only Sunday that we meet at 10AM. Come and fellowship and celebrate 50 years as a ministry with our Bartimaeus Family. After service we have a terrific meal lined up, with plenty of desserts so come and “be filled.”

This week’s Prayer and Praise:
Praise for Earl who was at Green Oaks but is back with us this Sunday. Please continue to pray for Earl, that the Lord would allow him to be encouraged and uplifted.
Laurie is still struggling to recover and still has her breathing tube so please continue to pray for her recovery and restoration.
No change with Mary so please continue to pray for her also. Mary’s been with us from the very start so please pray a special prayer for one of our foundational members.
Linda has an unspoken prayer.
Ruth asks that we continue to pray for Dr. Bexler’s recovery: she is on chemo and has fallen and broken seven ribs.
Dede thanks the Lord and asks that we pray for her cousin Ringo, and for her mother Arvella who is having trouble with her legs.
Good to see Anita!
Linda Thacker asks that you pray for her mother in Ohio who is now having trouble chewing and swallowing and has a bedsore causing her discomfort.
Peggy has a prayer of thanks for Cindy and Mike who are helping her clean up her mobile home. She praises God that He has prepared a place for her to stay and asks for prayer that she goes forward and not in reverse.. Linda notes that Peggy is making a notable change in looking to the future. Peggy met her two boys at Wal-Mart and wants to see them more. Praise God!
Praise that Cindy’s father is doing well—his pneumonia is clearing up and he is able to get up and move about.
Francis’ daughter Crystal needs help to get out on her own.
Kelly prays for strength for her father James.
Brenda prays that whatever we’ve got, if it’s negative, to leave it outside the door! Pastor David prays that we get up in the morning thanking God! The world needs our optimism.
John has an unspoken request.
Praise for Pastor David’s daughter Lindsey who is getting married!
